Well today is the start of football season. If you don't know by now, Brandon is a huge Oregon Ducks fan, and over the years has pulled me in too. So for the next 6 months we will be occupied every Thursday, Saturday,Sunday & Monday nights.
I wasn't sure at first how serious Brandon took these games until one day I walked in on him watching a Ducks game, dressed in his U of O shirt and hat. I went to reach for his hat and he yelled at me saying, "they are winning, you will jinks them." Since we became fans, we have enjoyed being able to go to 2 home games in Eugene, OR and the experience is Awesome!! I have been wanting to surprise Brandon for a couple years now with Season tickets but they cost about $800-$1000. Maybe one day I will have the money saved to do so. But, for now we will watch from home, and invite anyone who would like to join us. So here is to hoping for a great season....Go Ducks!!

What a brave woman, watching all that football. I must be the only one with a husband who isn't obsessed with sports. He was an A's and a 49's fan (coming from the SF bay area) but he doesn't follow it too closely these days cause they aren't very good anymore. He'd rather spend his time playing video games.
My husband doesn't really like sports either. I thought I got pretty lucky since he doesn't like to watch sports but then I get roped into watching scary movies with my husband because for some strange reason that is what he likes to watch! I think I would rather watch sports....anyway, this is for you....GO DUCKS!
We have McNeese University here and also an indoor football team. I think it would be really fun to go to some of their games, even though we are not die hard fans. By the way, cute background. Is this change in honor of the ducks?
I actually love your background...almost picked it for my own as well. I also noticed one of your family members has the same background as I do. Sorry to here that you weren't feeling well. Lauren's was a fluke thing too. Like out of no where she threw up couple of times, and then she had a fever and then the next day by afternoon she was fine. Don't get it. The only thing I can think is she got into something. Who knows with that girl. See you tomorrow at church. You are going to be there right??? LOL Just kidding. Talk to you soon :)
Hey you know boys are never really listening to what we have to say. So, how does the story go?
44 to 10 over the Washington Huskies. Need I say more?
You can live through my pathetic attempt at a garden, next year should be better....want a cucumber?
I have couple that you can have, and you can see if they will split five ways...lol. Like I said, this is my pathetic attempt at a garden. Emphasis on the attempt. LOL
Hi Afton!!
I'm so glad you and Melinda found me - I would love to be able to keep in touch with you. I can't believe how long it has been - Bryce is so big and I don't think I ever got to meet the girls. I want to go back to Oregon this spring, maybe we can plan to get together?? (I have to talk Dave into going back first). :)
