Twilight...

Well let me start out by saying that I am not a big reader of fiction books, especially vampires and all along have been putting off getting caught up unlike many others in Twilight. I have heard somethings through my friend Jojo who has been reading the books. Maybe one day I will pick up the book(s) and read it. Well I had mentioned to Jojo that we could make it a girls night out to see the movie, mostly just to get out of the house...then yesterday she called and invited me to go to the to the midnight showing of the movie with her and her husband . So I went, and I actually liked it. Here are a couple things to keep in mind if you are planning on attending a Twilight movie...

#1. Bring ear plugs, because there is alot of screaming

#2. Be preparerd to be surrounded by 90% high schoolers

So other than those 2 things and the cheesy employees at the movie theater trying to dress like the charaters in the movie, on a scale of 1-10, worst-best, I give it an
8.

I had so much fun with ya last night, you really should read at least the first book, it was pretty good and I guarantee that you will have it read in just a day or two, it really is so good you can't put it down!

I went and seen it today. I thought it was good! There was a guy sitting a few seats away from me with no girl with him. I can see a husband going with his wife, but come on, it was a chick flick! Oh and the first book was my fav of the 4!

See, it's nice to know, I am not the only one who thought that the first book was the best out of them all!!

A group of my friends went last night to see the movie. We got together for dinner before hand, but I did not go see the movie. Have not read the books and really do not intend to. Besides, the movie was way past my bed time! (Remember when I slept through the movie on New Years Eve? Did not want a rerun of that!)

Anyway...they all hated the movie. Said it was terrible. I think I probably had more fun shopping for food storage items at WalMart.

P.S. I do recommend you read "The Goose Girl." It was also written by a member of the church, Shannon Hale. Very good book. I think you would like it.

You actually didn't wake me up... I was actually awake, and getting ready to go into the bathroom and take a shower, so it's all good. Plus, you should have called me and we could have gone together, but since I had my conference call I just was kind of out of my norm for the day after Thanksgiving shopping. Oh well, and by the way, you are still my FAVORITE friend....you know you have friends at work too....LOL!

I saw it and REALLY liked it. I admit I later dragged Chris to see it and he said it was good too. I managed to convince him to see it with me because he knows I really like the books and he was curious about what they were all about that I liked them so much. I did make sure to warn him before hand that it was definately a chick flick and made on a fraction of the budget that goes into a movie like Harry Potter. I think that helped him know more about what to expect.

Oh, one more thing-we had a really quiet group in the movie theater-no ear plugs needed. No crazy costumes either. There were lots of teenage girls initially but like I said, they were quiet so fine with me.
