GO DUCKS!!

Well today is the start of football season. If you don't know by now, Brandon is a huge Oregon Ducks fan, and over the years has pulled me in too. So for the next 6 months we will be occupied every Thursday, Saturday,Sunday & Monday nights.

I wasn't sure at first how serious Brandon took these games until one day I walked in on him watching a Ducks game, dressed in his U of O shirt and hat. I went to reach for his hat and he yelled at me saying, "they are winning, you will jinks them." Since we became fans, we have enjoyed being able to go to 2 home games in Eugene, OR and the experience is Awesome!! I have been wanting to surprise Brandon for a couple years now with Season tickets but they cost about $800-$1000. Maybe one day I will have the money saved to do so. But, for now we will watch from home, and invite anyone who would like to join us. So here is to hoping for a great season....Go Ducks!!

I dedicate this post to: MY GIRLS!

I was taking some pictures of the girls when we were on vacation, as I was taking pictures I started to get tears in my eyes realizing that my babies are going to be starting the 1st real phase of their lives next year when they turn 5 years old. Yes, 5 I can't hardly believe it myself!
I remember the day that Brandon and I found out we were expecting twins, the ultrasound tech looked over at us with a puzzled expression on her face, and then said, "Did you know that these ultrasounds are to be scheduled an hour per baby?" "What?" Brandon and I both said at the same time. She then stated, "Yes, an hour per baby, you are expecting twins!" I remember thinking Brandon looks awfully white, and I thought I was going to be sick. We found out that day that there was a 90% chance they were girls, I don't even remember what Brandon and I talked about on the way home in the car I was so shocked! They were due 9 weeks before Brandon was to finish up at Portland State with his Bachelors degree in Finance.
I delivered Kayla Renee & Madison Emilie on Feburary 13th at 37 weeks and 5 days, weighing in at 7lbs, and 7lbs 4oz. I felt so blessed to have carried them for that long, and glad they were healthy babies. I am thankful for the friends and family that helped me tons, most everyone who knows me, knows how hard it was for me to let others help, I know now that if I hadn't I would
not have survived!
I love you Kayla and Maddy!

All Aboard!

This was a steam train that went from Rockaway to Garibaldi...the kids loved watching the steam come out everytime the whistle blew. It goes along the coast, and that is where I was able to get some of my pictures. I think that we did something about everyday that we were there, so I have posted many things that are new, make sure to look at all the pictures there are some AWESOME ones further down the page!

Tillamook Fair

This was the FIRST, LAST, & ONLY ride I went on!
The car was almost to big for Bryce, but he had a blast!

The "Maze" Maddy walked right into the glass it was so clear!
It made for a good laugh. The fair worker said in the mornings
when he cleans the glass that it looks so clear,
that he has ran into it several times himself.

Munson Falls-Tillamook, OR

We went on a little hike up to Munson Falls, and the kids liked climbing on the huge tree trunks and looking for bugs and slugs on the path. They found this yucky looking "Banana Slug"
