New Eyes for Bryce

Today we found out that Bryce was now going to need glasses for about 2 months to start and then from there he will be tested again.  About a year ago we were told the he had a lazy eye and had to wear a patch for some time...the doctor had also told us about a small Cataract in Bryce's left eye that should never be an issue in his eye sight, but I am still a little hesitant about it because I thought that they had the possibility of growing.  I guess we will see.

So Bryce & I got the prescription and were directed over to the kids frames.  Of course the first glasses he picked up and said "I want these" they looked something like this...
I laughed, no it is not going to be those.  In the end he was able to pick out a pair that looked really nice on him and he is excited about them..they actually look close to this...and a shout-out to the inventor of Flex Frames because we're gonna need it!

I AM MY KIDS....

Catching you up!

I know it has been quite awhile since I have posted anything.  I don't really have any excuses for not, just plain laziness.  But on the other hand, I have been busy too.  I know now you are thinking...what a contradiction.  Well let me explain.  It all started about 2 and 1/2 weeks ago, first Bryce was sick with something like the flu, except it only lasted maybe 10 hours. Then Maddy and Kayla both broke out with fevers several days later, no vomiting though so I was happy.
Kayla's fever however deiced that it was going to make it's self at home for 7 days...Yes, I said 7.  I finally took her into the ped's office and she was put on an antibiotic- that mind you, most kids love right?  It's bubble gum flavor, all kids love that!( Honestly I wouldn't go near that chalky stuff with a 10 ft pole)

I then had to find some creative ways to sneak it to her, and I did but then I ran out of ideas after she started saying that everything I gave her "tasted weird".  Then right when everyone was feeling better and good, Kayla woke up today vomiting....yeah!  Well I guess the benefit is that it gets me cleaning. So I have been to busy trying to get everyone well and laziness comes into play not wanting to sit and post to my blog after cleaning my entire house to keep the GERMS away!
